ABOUT
Bishop Smith is a third-generation son of the Church of God in Christ and has been a faithful member of the Church of God in Christ for more than 50 years. In 2009, Bishop and Lady Smith obeyed the voice of God and started New Life Community Church of God in Christ. Although Bishop & Lady Smith had no members, they believed God and started New Life Community Church of God in Christ on March 8, 2009. God has been faithful, and New Life Community Church of God in Christ has experienced tremendous success. Bishop Smith started New Life Community Church of God in Christ with no members and understands what it means to struggle as a pastor. Consequently, he has a burning desire to help struggling pastors maximize their potential and prosper in their ministries.
Consequently, in September of 2024, he launched New Birth Ministries. New Birth Ministries is a beautiful, totally renovated church building where new or struggling pastors can have church regularly with minimal cost. In total, Bishop Smith, with the help of the Lord, has acquired, purchased, or renovated three different churches. All three facilities: 1570 Chambers Road, 8400 North Broadway, and 4105 Ashland are well-maintained and fully operational. Bishop Smith is a proven leader with a track record of success.

Evelyn Smith
Worshipper, servant, and visionary are characteristics that best describe her. Evangelist Evelyn Smith was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She is the fourth youngest of nine children. Evangelist Smith attended Little Bethel Church of God in Christ, under the pastorate of her mentor and father in the gospel, the late Superintendent Buster Ollie. She later joined Bostick Temple COGIC in February 2005 after she married Auxiliary Bishop Timothy Smith – a longtime member.
In 2005 Evangelist Smith became a licensed missionary in the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and later an evangelist missionary.
